(107.9 The Link) - Are you someone who is ordering food delivery a lot? You may want to reconsider this habit because a new survery has found that there's a decent amount of food delivery people sampling your food!

Getting any type of food delivered to your home or work is easier than ever with all of the different delivery services like Postmates, DoorDash, UberEats, etc.

It's so convenient, especially if you live in or very close to a city center. The options you can have delivered by someone else in less than an hour are incredible.

US Foods, a leading foodservice distributor, found that nearly a third of delivery drivers were taking customers’ food. Out of 500 delivery drivers, a third had reported that they were dipping into the delivery food and sampling the goods.

Luckily, all hope is not lost. In many cases, being dissatisfied with your food and leaving a review of your experience will result in a discount or refund.

Most complaints from customers have to do with the food coming cold or slightly warm. Also, the time it takes for the food to arrive is one of the other top customer complaints.

How many people have suspected that their food was tampered with and maybe even sampled? Only about 21% of customers thought the portions looked smaller than normal.

Needless to say, many will be thinking twice about ordering out and giving their food a good look over before starting to eat it to see if it appears it was eaten or messed with by the delivery person.
