Rob Gronkowski Reads 'How the Grinch Won Six Rings' Bill Belichick Parody

By , WEEI 93.7

Fox NFL analyst Rob Gronkowski compared Bill Belichick to the Grinch a few weeks ago and he took that comment a few steps further in a dramatic reading of “How the Grinch Won Six Rings by Dr. Santa Gronk."

Gronkowski tweeted out a video of himself dressed as Santa reading his How the Grinch Stole Christmas parody, which tells the story of the Patriots’ 2018-2019 season with Belichick as the Grinch.

Gronk’s version details how Belichick did not like how players “partied through the night and then the next day we’d get nothing right.”

“He made us stop partying and start Tom’s TB12 diet,” Gronk read over an illustration of a gaunt-looking Tom Brady.

“My teammates and I were so iffy to say the least,” he continued. “Even hung over, we still win the AFC East.”

In the end, Belichick's “hoodie, I mean heart, doubled in size” when the Patriots won the Super Bowl.

Gronkowski also posted the video to Instagram and his girlfriend, Camille Kostek, commented asking Belichick’s girlfriend, Linda Holliday, to watch it.

“This is outrageous and I love it,” she wrote. “@lindaholliday_ please watch this Christmas story with Roberto and the grinch.”

To which Holliday responded, “Hilarious! But did you see the Grinch smile at the end? Nailed it!”
