Gronkowski has purchased a $1.7 million condo in Miami and it comes with five bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and three parking spaces.
The retired tight end recently sold his place in Boston and it now looks like that was in favor of this slightly warmer location.
He bought the condo from retired Norwegian soccer player John Carew, who shares representation with Gronkowski.
The condo boasts high ceilings, a pool, fitness center and spa.
The ex-Pat's former penthouse loft in Boston's Seaport District was put up for sale in March. The spacious spot had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a custom-built kitchen, and a private roof deck. It was listed by Elliman for an asking price of $2,375,000.
The move from balmy Boston to palmy Miami will be a hard pillow to swallow for Patriots' fans holding out hope for a Gronk comeback.
It may be just as hard for Gronk's former teammates. Just a few days into training camp, Patriots' quarterback Tom Brady said playing without Gronk and dealing with the team's "significant turnover" is like "climbing a mountain."
"Every time you climb the mountain, the next year you start right at the bottom with everyone else and you have a new group of people," Brady said.
Making it even harder for Gronk to leave the new climate will be Camille Kostek, his Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover model girlfriend who is moving with him into the new pad.
