Thirty Seconds to Mars have just released their first song in four years: an inspirational pump-up anthem, “Walk On Water.”
The song was shared along with a lyric video which contains some of the footage collected on the Fourth of July. The project, initiated by the band, captured film from over 10,000 people to showcase a single day in the United States of America. Check out some of those moments from the Fourth along with the new jam below!
While the above lyric video contains some of the Independence Day footage, the rest will be used in a Jared Leto-directed documentary that’ll serve as a companion piece to the album. Which, of course, is “coming soon.” Just like the tour. And the film. And just about everything the band’s been teasing lately.
But there is one date nailed down: The band will play "Walk On Water" on Sunday, August 27 at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards.
What do you think of the new song?
