Alice in Chains just dropped their first song in five years. Hear “The One You Know” below!

The song comes days after the band kicked off its summer tour and will appear on the upcoming, and still unnamed, album, which is expected to drop this summer.

Guitarist Jerry Cantrell recently spoke with GuitarWorld about what fans can expect from the follow-up to 2013’s The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, explaining, “There’s some really heavy sh!t, some really ugly stuff, some real beautiful stuff, some weirdo trippy sh!t… it’s good!”

That said, he insists that the album still has that signature Alice in Chains “fingerprint,” which can perhaps be attributed to the fact that the band decided to kick it in their Seattle hometown for this one, working with producer Nick Raskulinecz at Studio X—the place where the band recorded a good chunk of its 1995 self-titled album.

While we wait on the summer release, follow along as Alice in Chains continue their North American tour.
