After 15 months conjoined together, these twin sisters slept alone for the first time after they were separated in a six-hour surgery.
It took 18 specialists at a hospital in Australia to perform the surgery on Nima and Dawa, who were born attached at the torso with one liver. Doctors split the organ when separating their bodies.
Before this, they were having difficulty sitting and standing.
There were no complications during the intensive procedure, and they’ll be heading home soon!
