See you wader, alligator!

Animal control could not believe what they found in the hot tub at one Kansas City-area home.

That’s Catfish, a 7-foot, 205-pound alligator described by owner Sean Casey as "a big cuddly lizard."

Casey says he’s had the reptile for about four years and that Catfish is like a dog -- except he calls for the alligator by saying, “Here kitty, kitty, kitty.”

Animal control responders can be heard in published footage, yelling, “Let him roll for a while, let [him] wear down,” as they try to remove a thrashing Catfish from the hot tub.

Catfish is staying temporarily at a nearby animal sanctuary. Casey, who is being evicted by his landlord along with his remaining pets (including three pythons and a rabbit), says he will fight to get Catfish back.
