Pageant royalty runs in the this family’s blood. A mother-daughter pair both took home crowns as Miss South Dakota and Mrs. South Dakota. After years of being a self titled “pageant mom” to her 19-year-old daughter, Morgan, Tina Wilson joined the South Dakota international pageant.

Her platform is raising diabetes awareness. And she’s gone through her own weight loss journey, shedding more than 150 lb in less than a year and keeping it off.

Morgan has been in pageants since she was 12-years-old and is majoring in musical theater at Northern State University.

Tina and Morgan say they are blessed to have shared this experience together. They will compete again in West Virginia later this year.
