Raccoon noodle soup?
This hungry critter in Florida got himself into a tight spot -- that’s a Campbell's Chunky soup can stuck on a raccoon’s head.
The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife said the male raccoon was found in North Fort Myers. The clinic’s veterinarians, worried about the animal’s ability to breathe, went to work.
First they used a can opener to remove the bottom of the can and open up the air flow. They then sedated the raccoon, planning to cut the rest of the can off its head. But once the animal relaxed, doctors were able to slide his head out easily.
The raccoon was no worse for wear and he was set to return to the wild once the medication wore off, the clinic said.
