A service member scored big when he came home and surprised his mom at a Sacramento Kings game.

U.S. Army Pfc. Brandon Covey had been deployed for six months in South Korea.

His mom, Vanessa Ibarra, was standing blindfolded on the court during a first-quarter timeout. Performers were making slam dunks over her head, when Covey removed her blindfold. Vanessa was completely shocked and brought to tears.

The two shared a long hug, and the crowd cheered for this deserving family brought back together after such a long time a part.
