NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- It's all come full circle at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx where the team that's been caring for a premature baby is the same one that watched over the boy's father nearly 20 years ago.
He was born at 25 weeks weighing 1-lb, 12 oz, now Josiah Valentine is over 5-lbs.
"I just want him home, I'm excited," proud mom Destiny said.
Dad Javon says there's plenty of stuff waiting for their baby when they get home.
"A crib, lotta clothes, Pampers," he said.
Josiah was ready to go home on Thursday. His father was treated by the same medical team -- Dr. Lazaro Lezcano and nurse Edith de Leon have been taking care of babies like Javon for 30 years.
