If at first you don’t succeed -- try and try again!
An adorable newborn Masai giraffe at Ohio's Columbus Zoo is taking his first steps. While it’s a little rocky at first in the video the zoo shared online, the calf eventually finds it's footing.
Mom Lulu and dad Rafa were there the entire time watching their newborn make huge strides. The incredible giraffe nearly mastered the art of walking only a few hours after being born and is expected to grow up to 18 feet tall.
In a post on Facebook, the zoo says the giraffe was born out in pasture on July 10th and the birth was witnessed by guests on one of the park's open-air safari tours.
