No one could have expected this accidental 911 call would end in an epic dance-off!

When Patrol Deputy Vic Ekanem of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was responding to someone dialing 911 by mistake, he noticed that the boy seemed especially timid around cops. So, Ekanem and his partner decided to take a little bit of extra time with the California kid to help him feel more comfortable -- and the conversation ended in a dance challenge!

The newfound friends danced outside the boy's home and it looks like everyone who witnessed the magical moment was a winner. Except maybe for Ekanem who was out-flossed pretty severely by the youngster.

Deputy Ekanem is part of the LASD S.H.A.R.E. (Stop Hate and Respect Everyone) program, which aims to help police officers bond with younger members of their community… exactly like this. The program was launched in 2008 with a focus on youth as they leave the grade school campuses and enter high school.
