(WEEI) -- Tom Brady has a new locker mate, as Antonio Brown is set up next to him with an empty locker in between, but the quarterback really didn't want to talk about him much at his weekly press conference.
On Tuesday, there was a lawsuit accusing the wide receiver of rape and sexual assault.
Brady was asked if he had any comment on Brown's current situation.
“No," Brady replied.
Not a word to say?
“Didn’t I just answer that," he added.
Brown was released by the Raiders over the weekend and then officially signed with the Patriots on Monday.
While Brown was on the practice field for the first time Wednesday, Brady still wanted to keep things geared towards the actual game.
“I’m just trying to show up and play football and try to prepare," he said. "Miami’s a good team. I am going to get ready for them. Things that don’t involve me, don’t involve me.”
As for the rumor Brown stayed at Brady's house earlier in the week, he didn't want to discuss that, either.
“Yeah, I am not getting into all that," he said.
Football-wise, Brown has a lot of catching up to do joining the team following missing a whole offseason of work, including training camp and the preseason.
“Just like a lot of new players, trying to get up to speed and so forth," Brady said. "A lot to learn. Again, coming in this time of year I would say is challenging. That is just the situation. It happens a lot throughout the NFL. Different players change teams and so forth. That has happened over the years. Just trying to do the best we can do.”
As of now, the expectation is Brown will be on the field Sunday in Miami.
