Slipknot Expects Early 2019 Album Release, Shares Haunted House Teaser

Just a few weeks ago, Corey Taylor confirmed that he would be switching his focus back to Slipknot in 2019. Now, the timeline has been specified even further to suggest a new Slipknot album in the summer of next year.  

"It all depends on when we get in the studio. Right now, the plan is for us to be in the studio early next year — like, first couple of months next year,” Taylor explained to Spain's Resurrection Fest TV. The album is expected to be supported by an extensive tour with “new masks, new outfits, new everything.”  

He revealed that the band has already demoed 20 tracks that they’re really happy with, giving them a running start for when they officially get into the studio.
