The military 'brothers' of fallen U.S. Army Specialist Chris Harris got to meet his little baby girl whom sadly he’ll never know – Harris was killed when a suicide bomber attacked a NATO convoy in Afghanistan last August.

His wife Britt Harris revealed that she was pregnant over Facetime only a week before his passing.

Britt named their daughter Christian after her late father, and since her husband always considered his fellow soldiers of the 2nd Battalion, 504th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82 Airborne Division (also known as the "Devil Brigade") a part of his extended family Britt wanted Christian to meet them and commemorate the special moment with professional photos.

Britt, a North Carolina native enlisted the help of local photographers Pinehurst Photography to capture the special pictures that she and Christian will certainly cherish for the rest of their lives. The baby girl even wore a onesie that read, "My daddy, my hero."

“Sometimes all we need to soothe our soul and ease our burdens is the loving hand of a friend gently touching our heart and lifting us towards love”

The widow also involved her Chris’ Army brothers for the gender reveal by mailing them pink confetti in Afghanistan.

While Christian will grow up without her daddy, she will always feel his presence from her extended military family.
