Three mountain lion kittens is a crowd, but four is just too cute to handle!

Researchers at the National Park Service found quadruplet mountain lion kittens in the Simi Hills in California. While the little one’s mother was away, workers went into the den to conduct a general health check, mark the kittens with ear tags, and weigh them.

The blue-eyed kittens, which each weigh between four and five pounds, are only a couple weeks old. The park service hopes to study the mountain lions and learn how they continue to survive in the increasingly urbanized environment.

To be honest though, we think they just wanted to get up close to these cuties!
