WATCH: A Pack Of Puppies Make Nursing Home Resident’s Day

By Kayla Jardine/Joe Cingrana

"The second we walk in with a basket full of puppies, all that loneliness is washed away, if only for a moment."

This surprise was everything for the residents at Four Fountains nursing home in Illinois when they were surprised with a bunch of cute and cuddly boxer puppies!

Brett Kaemmerer breeds boxers and runs a popular Facebook group called Everyday Boxer. When his pups are about six-weeks-old, he likes for them to begin socializing, so Brett takes the little ones to a local nursing home to meet the residents.

For many people in assisted living, there can be times when visitors are scarce. But in a blog post on Love What Matters, Brett says the moment he walks in with a basket full of adorable puppies, all of the loneliness for the residents gets washed away and they immediately begin to share stories about their own beloved pets.

If these photos are any clue, we think you'll agree Brett is doing an incredible service.

What a touching and selfless way to share the wealth!
