Kelly Osbourne Shares That Getting Gastric Sleeve Surgery Is “Not a Quick Fix”

Kelly says "It is the best thing I have ever done."

Kelly Osbourne has a lot of positive feelings towards getting gastric sleeve surgery, however, she wants you to know that it still involves a lot of hard work.

The reality star shares her own journey to feeling healthier involved an 85-lb. weight loss that came with a shift in both her mental and physical health. This shift came several years ago after Kelly underwent gastric sleeve surgery.

Osbourne shared, “I had surgery; I don’t give a f*** what anyone has to say,” during Dax Holt and Adam Glyn’s Hollywood Raw podcast. She continues to explain, “I did it, I’m proud of it, they can suck s***. I did the gastric sleeve. All it does is change the shape of your stomach. I got that almost two years ago. I will never ever lie about it ever. It is the best thing I have ever done.”

Kelly has had a complete lifestyle change where her focuses are on eating right and exercising. “What people don’t realize is, it cuts out this hormone that if you have addiction issues, it stops your craving and it makes you not emotionally eat, which is a huge problem for me. … All it is is a push in the right direction. It doesn’t solve all your problems. It’s not a quick fix,” explains Osbourne.

Most importantly Kelly highlights that working on her mental health allowed her to get to a place of being ready to make a complete lifestyle shift. She warns that surgery is not a fix-all.
