From Nov. 3-11, Target is offering a 10 percent military discount on a purchase made in-store or online.
The offer is available to active-duty military or veterans, but you have to verify your service to get it.
Verification and access to the coupon is done online at target.com/military.
Target uses a service called Sheer ID to verify that a veteran or service member served in the military, adding that the service collects "only information that assists in verifying your eligibility."
Veterans and service members are asked to provide their status, branch of service, first and last name, birth date and email address.
The discount is available on most products, with several exceptions, including alcohol, Bose electronics, cameras, Fitbits, gift cards, Google products, mobile contracts, Nintendo, PS4 and Xbox hardware and more. The discount is also only available for one purchase and cannot be used more than once.
