A year of Amazon Prime is normally $119 — but for veterans adding a phone line with Verizon, it's free.

Add a phone line with Verizon — with select Verizon Wireless and Fios discounts — and Verizon will provide a one-year membership to Amazon Prime at no additional cost. Amazon Prime includes free one-day delivery on millions of items, unlimited streaming of popular TV shows and movies including award-winning Amazon Originals, and more.

Active military members, Reservists, cadets, Gold Star families, and veterans with valid ID can take advantage of this deal.

To get the discount, eligible military-connected individuals can purchase a smartphone with a new line of service any time from now until Dec. 2.
