The Cubs-Cardinals game scheduled for Friday evening in St. Louis has been postponed due to at least one more individual in the Cardinals organization testing positive for COVID-19, according to multiple reports.

The Cardinals recently suffered a coronavirus outbreak, with seven players and other members of the traveling party testing positive. The Cardinals had returned to workouts at Busch Stadium in the last two days after not playing since July 29, but the further positive test has caused more concern.

The Cubs and Cardinals had been scheduled to play a three-game series Friday through Sunday. It wasn't immediately clear whether the games in the coming days could be played or would be postponed.

The Cubs are the only team in MLB to not have at least one player test positive for COVID-19.
