Carson may have been born just outside of Chicago and still be a Cubs and Bears die-hard, but now that he's spent over half his life in the 9-1-6, he likes to think of himself as being a NorCal semi-local. A huge soccer fan, he's all about the Sac Republic and can't wait for the new stadium (though Papa Murphy's Park does have a great gameday vibe).

When he's not blasting his huge vinyl collection (everything from pop and soul to rock and blues and old school jazz), he's usually eating tacos and hanging out with his dog Baxter.

Carson also produces most of the goofy "106.5 the End" stuff you hear between songs and is a big supporter of the Sacramento SPCA and the Sacramento Food Bank.
