Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebrates the Civil Rights leader's life and legacy. It's also the only federal holiday that's designated as a national day of service encouraging us to volunteer to help improve our communties. January 18, 2021 is the 26th Anniversary of the MLK Day of Service. A way to honor Dr. King's legacy, while helping others.
The ATX MLK March, Festival and Food Drive organized by the Austin Area Heritage Council is cancelled. Although the pandemic won't stop them from honoring Dr. Martin Luther King.
