The Monday after the Super Bowl is always a struggle, as people recover from the mass amounts of food and late night watching the game. For those worried about work the next day, they just hope the game ends at a reasonable time. However, some may be hoping for overtime this year, as Buffalo Wild Wings has once again decided to offer free wings if the game goes an extra quarter.
Buffalo Wild Wings has offered this same deal for the last two Super Bowls. However, with neither game going to overtime the chain has decided to once again offer up the deal. "Overtime is synonymous with Buffalo Wild Wings and we’re leaning into that yet again this year with free wings for America if the Big Game goes into overtime, because the only thing better than extra football is free wings,” said Buffalo Wild Wings chief marketing officer Rita Patel.
If the game goes to overtime, customers can redeem their six free chicken wings on Feb. 22, between the hours of 4 and 7 p.m. While work may be rough the next day, free wings will make it worth it.
