As December approaches, more and more holiday lights have sprung up all around the metroplex. While many keep things simple with their lights, everyone loves getting the full light show experience during the holiday season. Now, Walmart has developed their own light show that promises to light up the skies, and is bringing that experience to DFW.
The ‘Walmart Holiday Drone Light Show’ will take place at the Cotton Bowl on December 5. The event will use 1,000 Intel drones to create a holiday lights spectacle in the sky. Some of the three dimensional seasonal shapes and characters viewers can expect to see include; snowflakes, reindeer, snowmen, and holiday presents, choreographed to a soundtrack of seasonal music.
“From our summer movie drive-in to our Fall game day and Halloween experiences, we've been finding ways to help families enjoy seasonal traditions in a year when they thought it might not be possible,” said William White, chief marketing officer at Walmart. With Walmart getting into the holiday spirit, it will be hard for any home to win the title of best light show this year.
