And the winner is...
The mirrorball trophy has found new owners – Kaitlyn Bristowe and Artem Chigvintsev
The former "Bachelorette" and her dance partner were crowned the winners of season 29 on Monday, November 23.
The stakes were raised during the finale as Kaitlyn and Artem Chigvintsev, Nev Schulman and Jenna Johnson, Justina Machado and Sasha Farber, and Nelly and Daniella Karagach competed for the coveted title.
First the pairs took the stage to perform a repeat of a routine done in previous weeks.
The second time around, they brought their A-game to the freestyle.
Kaitlyn and Artem redid their Argentine Tango to “Toxic,” Nelly and Daniella brought a lively samba to “Rhythm of the Night,” the “Catfish” star and Jenna did the “Black Swan” paso doble, and Justina and Sasha did the cha cha to “Rhythm.”
Nelly kicked off the freestyle portion with “Savage” by Megan Thee Stallion before busting out choreography to “Hypnotize” by The Notorious B.I.G.
"Nelly, the king of swag and the king of bling. I mean, that opening tableau, I said, okay, we're in the presence of hip-hop royalty," Bruno told him. The duo snagged a perfect score.
Kaitlyn and Artem's recreated one of the best moments from Baz Luhrmann's “Moulin Rouge” for their freestyle, which earned them threes 10s for a 30 out of 30.
Nev and Jenna ditched the umbrellas to dance in the rain and soar to new heights in an EDM-infused remix of "Singing in the Rain.” It also earned them a 30 out of 30.
Justina and Sasha closed out the competition with an enthusiastic performance that celebrated Latino culture. The routine, set to “Let’s Get Loud” by Jennifer Lopez and “Bamboleo” by The Gypsy Kings, earned a 30 out of 30.
Nelly also hit the stage to perform a medley of greatest hits including “Ride Wit Me” and “Hot in Herre.”
The socially-distanced season brought some interesting names to the stage including "Tiger King's" Carole Baskin, who donned a handful of cat-themed costumes.
