The same group of students responsible for a huge Black Lives Matter protest in San Francisco’s Dolores Park earlier this month joined other activists early Saturday in creating a giant "Defund The Police" message in front of City Hall.

While city officials have announced their intentions to allocate SFPD funds to various projects in the Black community, the group believes "the plan does not go nearly far enough."

Similar projects have been completed in Oakland and San Francisco over the past few weeks.

A vehicle caravan group even stopped traffic on the Bay Bridge last Sunday to paint "#BLM" on the roadway.
