SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS Radio) -- BART riders returning from the holiday weekend were greeted Monday morning at the Embarcadero station by fare inspectors, who boarded trains and demanded proof of payment from every passenger.
The highly-visible enforcement effort forced early-morning trains to pause for about five minutes.
