According to a press release from Mayor London Breed’s office, indoor personal services - like hair salons, barbershops and nail salons - gyms and fitness centers, hotels and other lower-risk indoor and outdoor activities will move forward with limited capacity starting Monday, September 14.
Mayor Breed previously said these businesses would be able to reopen by the end of the month.
Political activities and places of worship have also been given the green light, as long as only one person is inside at a time for individual prayer or for campaign office use, with a capacity of 50 people outdoors.
As previously announced, hotels, outdoor family entertainment centers, drive-in entertainment like outdoor movies, and outdoor tour buses and boats will also reopen on the Monday under rules for outdoor gatherings.
Breed added that kindergarten through sixth grade, as well as museums and galleries, can reopen by September 21 as long as those businesses have approved safety plans in place.
