Keith Menconi works in the KCBS newsroom as a producer and out in the field as a general assignments reporter covering stories throughout the Bay Area. Prior to working at KCBS, Keith lived for several years in Taipei, Taiwan, where he worked as a drive time news anchor. There, he also hosted a variety of news segments, most notably a weekly panel discussion on Taiwan current events with a guest list that ranged from national legislators to prominent activists to a former US diplomat. He originally got his feet wet in radio journalism as an intern reporter at KQED News. Keith is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. His interests are made up mostly of activities that can be performed while listening to the radio or podcasts. He earned a BA in history and economics from UC Berkeley.
