Allegheny Co. Adds 100 New COVID-19 Cases, 12 Hospitalized

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Allegheny County is reporting 100 cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, 30 more compared to Wednesday, but some tests date back to July 10.

The cases are out of 1,574 test results and range in age from 8 months to 101 years-old with the median age being 42.

The dates of positive tests range from July 10 through August 5.

99 cases are confirmed and one is probable.

In addition, 12 new hospitalizations are reported.

Three additional deaths are being reported. One of the deaths is in a person in the 50-64 age group with the other two in the 65+ age range.

The deaths range from July 30 to August 5.

Since March 14, Allegheny County has seen 8,612 total cases, 713 hospitalizations and 251 deaths.
