Allegheny County COVID-19 Cases Increase By 244

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Allegheny County Health Department reported 244 new COVID-19 cases on Friday. That's 112 more cases than were reported yesterday.

In addition, there were 33 new hospitalizations and four new deaths reported.

The new cases came out of 2,616 test results.

Out of the 244 new cases, 242 are confirmed. The other two are considered probable.

The positive cases came from tests that were conducted June 30 through July 30.

This is the COVID-19 Update for July 31, 2020.In the last 24 hours, 244 new cases were reported out of 2,616 test results. New cases range in age from 2-103 years with a median age of 52 years. The date of positive tests ranged from June 30-July 30. pic.twitter.com/WXBZiklzKS
