Allegheny County Has 57 Additional Cases Of Coronavirus For A Total Of 476

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - There are 57 additional cases of coronavirus in Allegheny County Thursday, to bring the total to 476.

That is six less cases than yesterday.

The Allegheny Health Department says that 78 total have been hospitalized (past or present).

The number of dead remains at 2.

The age breakdown:

00-04 – 2 (less than 1%)05-12 – 4 (less than 1%)13-18 – 7 (1%)19-24 – 42 (9%)25-49 – 203 (43%)50-64 – 132 (28%)65+ -- 86 (18%)GenderFemale – 241 (51%)Male – 235 (49%)

All patients who have tested positive are either hospitalized or quarantined at home.

In a release the county says:

“With the warm weather expected this weekend, many of you will be heading outside. If you feel sick, you should stay home. If you head outside, remember to stay at least 6 feet away from others, avoid touching common surfaces like playground equipment, and wash your hands or use hand sanitizer often.”
