Allegheny County Reports 116 New COVID Cases In Last 48 Hours

Allegheny County is reporting 116 new cases of COVID-19 over the past two days.

The new cases were reported on September 20 and 21 and come out of 2,175 tests.

All 116 cases are confirmed and range in age from four to 92-years-old with the median age 33.

The positive tests range from August 12 to September with the "vast majority" of the tests taken between September 12 through 19. 

No new deaths are being reported.

The age range of new cases are mainly between the 19-49 range.

Since the coronavirus hit the area in March, there have been 11,779 cases in Allegheny County, with 1,158 hospitalized and 373 deaths.
