PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority has issued a precautionary flush and boil water advisory for streets in Upper Lawrenceville.
About 900 households are expected to be impacted by the advisory.
At 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday McCandless Ave experienced a 12-inch water main break causing low to no water pressure for parts of the neighborhood.
For those who cannot boil their water, a water buffalo tank will be placed at McCandless park.
The break has been isolated and crews are continuing to make repairs.
Traffic is still able to move through the area.
PWSA has an interactive map where you can see the infected area and what streets are under advisory.
