PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Gas prices around the Pittsburgh-area continue to fall amid the coronavirus pandemic.
AAA East Central says the average price of fuel in Western Pennsylvania is $2.18 a gallon, down four cents from last week.
The Pittsburgh average is $2.28 and as low as $1.84 in New Castle.
Nationally, the average price is $1.92, 81 cents lower than one year ago.
Demand is at its lowest point since 1993, and likely to push lower as we are urged to stay at home through the end of the month.
