Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank Hosting More Distribution Events This Week For Federal Employees

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Over the weekend, the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank hosted its first distribution events to the local families impacted by the partial government shutdown.

The need to help those impacted by the shutdown continues, as the government shutdown continues.

The next event will happen today (Monday, January 21st) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank in Duquesne, PA.

There will be another distribution on Thursday at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, as well as a distribution event at Butler City Farmers’ Market on Tuesday, January 22nd.
