Man Assaulted During Attack In Homewood Has Died

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A 63-year-old man assaulted in Homewood North last week has died, and a 31-year-old man arrested in the case is now facing homicide charges. 

Marlon Johnson is accused of attacking the unidentified man, who suffered severe head trauma, in the 7200 block of Frankstown Avenue Friday.

The man was found on the sidewalk and was transported to a hospital in critical condition before he died.

Johnson is in the Allegheny County Jail.  

Police continue to search for a second suspect.
