PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) The Community Market has announced a new store opening in Bloomfield Sunday, Aug. 19 at 9:00 a.m.
The new Community Market is located at 4401 Liberty Ave. in Bloomfield and will be open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The grocery store ensures access to fresh foods and convenience offerings to the surrounding communities.
The Bloomfield Community Market has approximately 55 employees and will offer everyday products including a variety of fairly priced, well-known name brands and a wide selection of produce, meat, deli and bakery offerings.
Community Market will also have convenience offerings such as Western Union money orders and the Pennsylvania Lottery.
“We are excited to have an opportunity to step in and provide the Bloomfield community with access to high quality foods and services,” Dan Donovan, a spokesperson for Giant Eagle, the company acting as operator of the new store said. “We thank those who helped make this new store a reality so quickly, and our new Community Market team who will bring it to life every day.”
ECHO Reality recently took over the space that is the current location for the new Community Market, which used to be a ShurSave Market.
