PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The forecast is looking beautiful on Saturday.

So why not grab some of your family members and friends and get a group together to help make the Pittsburgh area beautiful too?

You can do just that by joining the 3rd annual Pittsburgh Garbage Olympics happening this Saturday, September 21st from 9-11 a.m.

According to the Facebook page, neighborhoods across the city are creating teams to help collect trash around their communities.

There will be prizes given out to the teams who collect the most trash, the team with the strangest item found, and more surprises!

Food will be provided at the closing ceremonies held at Threadbare Cider and Mead at noon.
