(Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Winter weather forecasts from different outlets have been looking pretty cold and snowy after the first of the year but one from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicts something a little different.

While its forecast shows a wetter than normal December through February, it also shows temperatures slightly above normal.

“Even during a warmer-than-average winter, cold temperatures and snowfall are still likely to occur.”
