PA Adds 758 New Positive COVID-19 Cases To Statewide Total

HARRISBURG, Pa (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - There are 758 new positive COVID-19 cases in the state of Pennsylvania.

The Department of Health released the information on Friday after 24,388 test results were reported as of 10pm Thursday night. In addition, 15 new deaths were reported.

Allegheny County accounted for fewer than 100 of the new cases and six new deaths.

The age breakdown for positive cases in the state is as follows:

1% are ages 0-4; 1% are ages 5-12; 3% are ages 13-18; 9% are ages 19-24;  Nearly 38% are ages 25-49;  Nearly 23% are ages 50-64; and 24% are ages 65 or older

There have been 1,199,620 negative test results to date. All counties in the state have COVID-19 cases.
