Pittsburgh Police Investigating Fatal Accident Involving Shuttle Bus On Terrace Street

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburgh Police were called to the scene of a fatal accident that happened on the 3400 block of Terrace Street on Thursday.

According to police, a University of Pittsburgh Medical Center shuttle bus collided with a female pedestrian who was then rushed to UPMC Presbyterian where she was pronounced dead.

The driver of the shuttle remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Terrace Street was closed for a period of time, but as since reopened.

No personal information regarding the victim has been released.
