PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The hottest new food truck in Pittsburgh is not for humans. The Rollaway Dog Café is a dog-food only truck operating out of Harmony, PA.
The pup truck offers all kinds of gourmet treats like Bully sticks, freeze-dried beef duck and lamb heart, biscuits and other treats.
The also offer doggy desserts like pupsicles, goat’s milk snow cones with turkey treats and peanut butter and banana biscuits for toppings! They even offer CBD oil products.
“We specialize in treats your dog can come to the window to order and eat right on the spot. Around us is our pop up store which carries treats, chewables, and unique pet products that are healthy and safe for your animal,” said Maureen Laniewski one of the three owners.
Laniewski and her two partners Raw McStay and Ann Straub all have full time jobs in the animal industry.
Laniewski owns and operates All Pet & Home Care in Cranberry and Straub owns the Holistic Pet Nutrition Center in the Zelienople/Harmony area.
McStay, a full time manager came up with the idea for the Rollaway Dog Café. She had the food cart in her backyard for years collecting dust when she proposed the idea.
Now you can see the dog café all over town including Saturday May 11 for Pittsburgh Dog Mom’s Day at Mellon Park from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. You’ll also see the café at Open Streets Pittsburgh.
