Remembering 3 Fallen Pittsburgh Firefighters 25 Years Later

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Friday marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the death of three Pittsburgh firefighters in the East Hills.

Thomas A. Brooks, Patricia A. Conroy and Marc Kolenda were killed when they got trapped in a burning home on Bricelyn Street on February 14, 1995.

 Gregory Brown was convicted for the fire but it was vacated due to misconduct by prosecutors.

He was released in 2016 and is awaiting a new trial.
