Snow Angels Program Helps Older Pittsburghers With Shoveling

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The City of Pittsburgh is now accepting applications for their Snow Angels program.

The service pairs volunteers with older or disabled residents to help with shoveling and salting their property throughout the winter.

Applicants must be city residents age 60 or older or have a physical disability and lack other resources for snow removal help. ​
