The Carnegie Science Center To Host 21+ "Yinzer Friendsgiving"

PITTSBURGH (KDKA Radio) - The Carnegie Science Center is hosting a “Yinzer Friendsgiving” for adults aged 21 and over November 15.

The Science Center is adding to their adult programs with a night of “Pixburgh” themed fun.

Music will be playing in Roboworld while the rest of the four floors, and the adjacent Highmark SportsWorks, will be open with Pittsburgh and science-themed activities.

The Science Center’s 10-million-volt Tesla Coil, invented by a Pittsburgher, will be firing.

Multiple Pittsburgh-themed art exhibitions will be on display, one of which the group painting of a parking chair.

Short, comedic, presentations will be given by self-proclaimed nerds talking about their passions in science.

“100 Things to Do in Pittsburgh Before You Die” author Rossilynne Culgan will be there selling autographed copies of her ultimate Pittsburgh bucket list.

Wearing Pittsburgh-themed clothing or sports jerseys is highly recommended.

There will be a cash bar with Pittsburgh-themed food.

Tickets will cost $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

For an additional $12.50 attendants will have access to the largest exhibition of mummies ever assembled in the Mummies of the World: The Exhibition.
