What's happening in Minneapolis is similar to what happened in Pittsburgh... just two years ago: A white police officer kills a black man in the process of making an arrest.

Antwon Rose Jr. was shot in the back as he ran from a traffic stop. George Floyd suffocated as an officer restrained him with a knee to the neck

Protests followed in Pittsburgh. Angry demonstrators blocked parkways and Downtown intersections. There were more protests after the trial that acquitted the officer who shot Rose.

In Minneapolis, it’s been much worse: Arson and looting. A police station torched. And the rage is spreading to other cities.

We must come together to end the unlawful killings of African-Americans by police.
