Allegheny County Police report to shooting in Mt. Oliver, three victims hospitalized

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) — On the morning of Saturday, Oct. 17, the Allegheny County Police Department's General Investigations Unit responded to Mt. Oliver after calls asking for assistance.

Police reported to the scene of a shooting on the 1700 block of Arlington Avenue at around 3:24 a.m. on Saturday.

When first responders arrived, they found three adults with injuries.

None were life threatening, though.

All injuries were to the victims’ lower bodies.

There were two female victims and one male, and they were all transported to area hospitals.

All victims are expected to survive.

After the response, an investigation was launched by ACPD General Investigations Unit detectives.

The Medical Examiner's mobile crime lab will also be providing scene processing for the investigation.
